I have a B6100HST 4WD and was told by a Kubota mechanic that this model does not have a water pump although it is liquid cooled. Can someone explain briefly the cooling system and what would be the most logical solutions for an overheating problem?

The syphon system has been around since the beginning of the water cooled engine. It basically works from heat rising exchanging the fluid. For a heating problem my first area to look at would be for obstructions of the radiator and cooling system. For it to just start out of no where with good normal maintence it could be a colapsed hose where the interior liner is not letting it flow thru or it could be a potential head gasket failure or something of that nature which normally would give a discoloration of the antifreeze as well as small bubbles surfacing on the top of the radiator when filled to the neck with the engine running. ....
